Formerly the viaduct was named "Furkareuss-Viadukt" by the FO. The two red coaches were rented by the BVZ Zermattbahn in 1993.

The famous bridge, built in 1925, was built up on June, 22th/23th 1988 first time after the closure of the line in 1981. Here you can see the middle part being pulled in its end position.
